Quality education is a fundamental right, and we believe in providing equal opportunities for all.
Our project aims to establish a solar-powered learning hub in a rural community outside Edmonton, enabling children to access education even in off-grid areas.
Here are the key aspects of this project:
- All set up within Morinville, 35km outside Edmonton – with the 2nd most hours of sunlight in all of Canada!
- Construction of a solar-powered classroom and library, lowering costs to rural education here
- Provision of educational materials and resources, which will be available through partner programs
- Training local teachers to ensure sustainable education, with on-site jobs available in solar management
- Community engagement programs to promote literacy, solar power usage, renewable energy and more.
